Brand Ambassadors Impacting the Experiential Marketing Industry: Part 1

Brand ambassadors, event staff, and promotional models keep the experiential marketing industry running. However, there has never been recognition for this group until now.

This year, Shiftgig partnered with Event Marketer to create the 2017 Brand Ambassadors of the Year awards program, the first of it’s kind, to finally recognize these industry members for their hard work.

We announced the winners and celebrated them during the EX awards in Chicago earlier this month. Now, we want to honor them by profiling their individual impact on the experiential marketing industry, and giving you a little insight as to why these ambassadors deserved to be in the top 10.

Part One:

Lisa Jorgensen

San Diego, CA

Lisa is a brand ambassador veteran, having been in the industry for more than 10 years. She is responsible for managing the setup and breakdown of both small and large spaces, and manages the brand ambassadors on-site at big brand activations.

According to her agency, The Marketing Arm, she is the epitome of what a brand ambassador should be: she’s engaging, a problem-solver, and a hard worker. Jose Durazo

Jose is much more than your typical brand ambassador. He is trusted with running brand activations from beginning to end -- including finding a team to support the activation, training them, communicating updates to his agency throughout the activation, and following up the activation with detailed reports on each brand ambassador’s performance. He does all of this with a very professional attitude says his agency, CAA.

Shelby Johnson

As a lead on-site brand ambassador, Shelby is the point of contact for event staff and ensures every consumer has a great brand experience. She is able to succeed at this during each activation thanks to her attention to detail and drive to go above and beyond the client’s expectations. Her agency calls her “a great example for the entire team.”
